Overview
The PAES observation service ( Synoptic Scale Atmospheric Pollution ) was labelled by the CSOA ( Commission Spécialisée Océan Atmopshère ) of INSU (Institut National des Sciences de l'Univers ) for concentrations measurement of O3, CO , NOx et NOy and for the three measuring sites: Puy de Dôme (63) , Pic du Midi de Bigorre (65) and Tour de Donon (67).
The objective of this network is to offer a whole of continuous measurements of gas traces as well as meteorological data in representative altitude stations of the atmospheric conditions to synoptic scale generally located above the boundary layer, far from the direct sources of pollution.
This PAES database is free access. It is managed and updated by the Aerology Laboratory (31 Toulouse), in collaboration with the Physical Laboratory of Meteorology (Lamp-OPGC 63 Clermont-Ferrand) as well as the Association for the Monitoring and the Study of Atmopsheric Pollution in Alsace (ASPA - 67300 Schiltigheim).
The WIDE database includes an additional number of parameters and measuring sites which were not labelled.
