The EOLE project

EOLE is a program associating a meteorological satellite with sounding-balloons (500 balloons to 12000 m) drifting in the jet-stream of southern hemisphere from September 1971 to June 1972.

EOLE data sets are available from Ether for the period 1971-08-27 to 1972-02-26 . They were provided by Albert Hertzog, LMD/CNRS.
