MegapoliMegacities: Emissions, urban, regional and Global Atmospheric POLlution and climate effects, and Integrated tools for assessment and mitigation, 2008 - 2011The ESPRI-MEGAPOLI data base contains measurement data obtained from two intensive field campaigns, which took place in and around the Paris agglomeration during summer 2009 and winter 2009/10. The specific objective was a better quantification of primary and secondary organic aerosol sources and formation pathways in and around a tertiary type megacity located in temperate latitudes. M. Beekmann
MorganeMaïdo ObservatoRy Gaz and Aerosols NDACC Experiment The aim of the MORGANE campaign is to make a first validation of the MAIDO LIDAR humidity (from April 2013 to June 2015). The campaign will permit also to validate the measure of density and temperature of the same lidar in the objective of the NDACC qualification. To help this validation, potential vorticity maps from high resolution transport model MIMOSA are produced daily (analysis and forecast). High resolution of potential vorticity data profiles are available above the Reunion Island. P. Keckhut
StraPolEteSummer Polar StratosphereThe core of the project is based on measurements obtained during an Arctic campaign involving six flights of balloon-borne instruments in August 2009.N. Huret
Table MountainCampaign of measurements in UT-LSTable Mountain Facility (TMF) is a unique, remote scientific and engineering facility that produces innovative results. TMF is a Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) asset and is classified as a Remote Site. Our facility provides an ideal location for many research projects, including Astronomy, LIDAR, and projects for universities and colleges. A campaign of measurements in UT-LS (Upper Troposphere - Lower Stratosphere) is set to take place in August 2016 from 5 to 20. During this campaign, potential vorticity maps from high resolution transport model MIMOSA were produced daily (analysis and forecast) by ESPRI.T. Leblanc
TimminsTechnological campaignThe City of Timmins was selected in March 2012 as the Canadian launch site because of its favourable latitude, wind and weather conditions, its low population density in key areas surrounding the city and optimal on-site infrastructure. It was the top pick in Canada for meeting the strict regulations governing high-altitude balloon launches and recovery. A technological campaign took place in 2015. During this campaign, potential vorticity maps from high resolution transport model MIMOSA were produced daily (analysis and forecast) by ESPRI.E. Rivière
TRO-pico TRO-pico TRO-Pico is a 4 year project funded by the French National Agency (ANR). It aims at studying deep convection in the tropics and more precisely, overshooting convection in the lower stratosphere, on the stratospheric water budget, from the local to the continental scale. E. Rivière
