Overview
      SAOZ is a lightweight diode array UV-visible spectrometer that measures the absorption of sunlight by the atmosphere during the ascent/descent of the balloon and from float during sunset/sunrise.

Product information

      One SAOZ-BAL data set is available from Ether for the period 1993/06/24 to 2006/08/19 in V1 version for O3 and NO2; They were provided by Florence Goutail (LATMOS/CNRS). The data are level 2 vertical profiles .

Data available from Ether

      The available data (level 2 vertical profiles) are entitled : SAOZ-BALLOON.
      SAOZ-BAL data have been obtained during various campaigns (EASOE, SESAME, THESEO, SOLVE, BALODIN, ENVISAT, HIBISCUS, SCOUT-AMMA). The access to the data is open. For publication purpose, authorisation from PI (Florence Goutail) is required.
